More About The Underpants
I am getting very excited about the upcoming opening of my current show, The Underpants by Steven Martin, at Mt Baker Theatre in Bellingham, WA. It is a comedy that describes the hijinx that ensues in the life of Louisa after her underpants fall to the ground in public during a parade for the king. This witty farce takes place in 1910 Germany, where archaic sexual morals are starting to conflict with emerging modern attitudes.
Mt Baker Theatre is a bit further from the city than I have gone in the past to design. However, I am enjoying working at a new theatre, especially with this delightful cast and crew. For those of you in the Seattle/Bellevue area, the laughs the show provides are certainly worth the mileage to this lovely town.
